There are currently files in channel called MP3Pros, we would like to inform everyone that these are just compressed wav files and do not have the same sound quality as regular MP3s, they are no good for burning. These files should be labelled .wav and not .MP3. Look out for MP3Pro or strange fileinfo in play messages. Thanks

DALnet bans sharing!
Effective March 1, 2003 DALnet will be enforcing a
change to its Acceptable Use Policy ( http://www.dal.net/aup )
which will prohibit "Using a channel for the primary purpose
of facilitating the transfer of files"
This means that we are now operating the PhaZeNet channel as the main download/filesharing channel. See below on how to connect!.

Phazenet is a new Server.
Apparently short time ago dalnet took a nose dive and no one can get on so everyone is on phazenet! type /server irc.phazenet.com - then go to #ircwavplayers there if your looking for anyone! That's where we are all at! The same rules apply for this server as they do for Dalnet. We are trying to find out what happened with Dalnet - we all know that in the past month it's been tough getting on. Dalnet is denying there is any
problem at all for now. We will keep at it!
